Reminiscing Moments: Zigzagging Around the Field

March 31, 2007

I was staring deeply at the floor, sleeping... Suddenly, my mom kept on shaking me... "Gising na!" I was half-awake that time.

We arrived at school on time. But there are still some that are missing. We waited and waited until only one is missing. And that is.... uh. Shaine! It was then that....girl seated right beside us! She started borrowing my phone "Kuya, unli ka ba? Pahiram ako ng cell mo patext ako!" Demanding. lol. That's not the point anyway.

Well, our first stop was near Alabang Town Center, a Gonuts Donuts branch. We waited for many long minutes for our tour because each buses take turns. One of my classmate said; "Ma'am, eto na po yung P650 namin?". Minutes passed and it was already our turn. They showed us how they made the doughnuts and gave free samples!

Next stop, Leisure Farm, which was at Lemery, Batangas, but we have to take our lunch before the zigzag roads. Ken, one of my friends, puked (Sorry if I have to post this :D). He's not much that experienced in traveling. Anyway, we arrived there at maybe 11 am. Argh! Some of them took lunch there before the tour! hehe. There was this "Ultimate Mango Tree" that was not that ultimate much. 'Til we discovered that this mango tree grows different kinds of mangoes. I love mangoes! I should have snuck one in my pocket. African Nightcrawlers are their fertilizers in the Leisure Farm. African Nightcrawlers are worms. They grow herbs there that are ingredients to different kinds of food. Just like sodas and mints. We fed the chickens, jolly good! Wonder how they look when they get fried... However, we just passed around the Hydroponics Farm where "they can grow plants without soil!" as said in their pamphlet. We went inside the Flower Farm...oohh. We witnessed how they sprinkle the beautiful tulips that must be sprinkled every hour to make it live. hehe. My camera almost got wet. In the "High On Hybrid" section, we saw eggplants, corns, and many others in utmost beautiful form. Although, these plants and vegetables are *ehem* both male and female. We took a breathtaking tour around the Butterfly Garden where colorful butterflies inhabit. Finally, we got a little souvenir from the E-I-E-I-O farm, a little plant. But that doesn't end the Leisure Farm adventure. We still went to Forest Trail. It's a forest wherein we must cross the trail to enjoy the refreshing presence of nature. Though, those tour guide kept on shaking the hanging bridge and kept me jumping and my classmate's GBA batteries fell down the depths of the jungle. However, mom asked me if we were at Lemery, Batangas when we were on our way to the next destination. How did she know?

After that tiresome 2, or was that 4 hectares, of walking through Leisure Farm, our next stop was at Fantasy World. Fantasy World was said to be the shoot of the GMA telenovela Majika. That time, I'm so tired that I don't want to look around anymore. It was huge. But, no... my friends dragged me and I convinced them that we should rest. They respected me but they took my camera!! I had to look around for them. When I found them, we bought ice cream! Yey!

When I got back home, I relaxed by the living room with my parents.
"Ang layo naman nung pinuntahan niyo, Lemery"
"Leme-what?"I asked. "Ahhh. Lemery...How'd you know we were there?"
"Ginamit ni mommy yung tracker-tracker ba yun?"
"Sabi ko na nga ba eh!! MyGlobe Tracker! Dapat ni no ko na lang yun"....

Lonely Tuesday

Summer bummer is here again. Jolly good. I missed that already. But one thing for sure, it's B-O-R-I-N-G. Always washing the dishes and stuff. 'Net surfing is my life during summer. I almost memorized the order of washing the the dishes and stuff. Glasses... utensils... ceramics... plates... and things used for cooking... haayy.

And now, hanging clothes?!? Grrr.... How... how... are you? haha.

Not me, I'm not fine. I wish I had a penpal or someone to talk to everyday. It's been a lonely day for me today. Waaahhh.

I saved as much drafts and now I don't know which one goes first. But this post recently popped out of my mind.

Here's a song that I can relate to today. Though, I don't have a car. :D

That's all for now. Haaayyy..... 'bye

Reminiscing Moments: Shaine on You!

Can you imagine if your first friend became your first daring enemy?

Well, I do. Her name is Angelli Shaine Agustin. What's so angel about her? None, I tell you, none! She was the first one who I knew at MunSci. She was also the one whom I am always with during breaks at my first week at MunSci. I thought she would also be my bestfriend in the end, but no. It turned out that not only me has this distinct hate against her. All of our classmates did. But I admire her pluck of making friends in other year, in other section. I wish I was like her, but what am I saying!?

It all started one day in our Science class... we were having our quiz when our teacher told us to move our chairs so that no one would dare to cheat. Unfortunately, our column musn't going to move only the columns beside us. Then, Shaine, shouted at me"Hoy! Move daw!". That time, she borrowed my ballpen, I snarled at her.

Weeks after that, I heard rumors spreading about a girl that has too much pride of herself and/ "mayabang" Someone posted it on the Blind Item corner which we used to have. Then everybody knew it was Shaine. Shaine!!

We had this joke against her from our practice in our speech choir. Let me quote her: "Aris, quiet!...Ayaw niyo ba makinig!? Ayaw niyong magkaroon ng pera!? Ayaw niyong magkaproject!? Bahala kayo!!"

"Shaine on you!" one of us joked. The line was actually "Shame on you!"
"Mamatay ka nun"
"Baka hindi ka makahinga kapag nasa ilalim ka niya"

What I don't understand to myself is... I still remain loyal to her... After what she have done to me. When she asks for something and favors, I always do so. To Jommel(Special mention ka palagi): I don't want to be rude in any way so I still do whatever she asks me to do.

I'll always remember Shaine. 'Til death do us part. xD

'Til my next post. Haaayyy.....'bye. Ooohhh catchy.

Haaayyy.....MunSci

I remember it very clearly. "Haaayyy.....MunSci" is a made-up talk show in our english class. It's about our experiences in and out of Muntinlupa Science High School. In the talk show, we even had a made-up commercial of Stress Tabs, haha, for the very stressful students and teachers of MunSci. We made this talk show at July 4, 2006.

After all what I've been through at MunSci. I became very attached to it. I don't want to be kicked out!! No way! I even made my own "MunSci Life", an essay from our english class, again, and turned it into a novel. I wrote there those rough patches I had experienced and those "blame Reniel moments". How I first met and approached her(Jommel ha!?! Kilala mo na yun=P). How we formed a Pokèmon fans club in our school. And even how I became friends with Marty, a good friend that everybody loathed, I do not! If they only knew him well. I wish I am with them at Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center like those silly moments we had back then.

Now, my only promise to them is to complete the novels that I dedicated to them and always text-text na lang. Before we go, I collected their signatures in the middle page of "MunSci Life". That novel is always dedicated to I-Aristotle.

"Go Aris! Sana yung susunod na batch ay kasing galing natin! hehe". "Mabuhay ang MunSci"

P.S.
RONERICK!! WALA KA PANG SIGN!! KASI PURO KA NEXT TIME, EH!!

One Week Later

Before everything read this first:

John 20: 24-29

24Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it." 26A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put in into my side. Stop doubting and believe." 28Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" 29Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Have you ever doubted in believing in God? If you are you might want to find out what kind of doubt it is.

1. Nathaniel's doubt-not enough information
2. Peter's doubt-spiritual doubt
3. Thomas' doubt-intellectual doubt

There is only one solution with these doubts. It is faith. Believe in God! There is this saying: "Seeing is believing". What about those blind people whom Jesus healed? They believed in Him. "blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed".

I have a story about Easter Monday. hehe. The day after Jesus rode a donkey on Palm Sunday, the donkey went to town and crave for attention like yesterday. So walking, walking...all people ignored him and shooed him like a stray cat. He can't believe that he was being ignored and ran back home to his mother. He learned that he isn't important when he is not with the Lord. He's just like normal people, like us.

Reflect: 1. What doubts or questions about God are you struggling with? What have you found helpful in dealing with doubts? 2. Have you received the gift of the Holy Spirit? How has it changed you? 3. How important is God in your life? How do people treat you?

Whew! That was my longest post... That's all for now

MOST 2007

Every March, before the current school year ends, Muntinlupa chooses its Sampung Ulirang Mag-aaral ng Muntinlupa or Muntinlupa's Ten Outstanding Students (MOST). The award was given last March 23, 2007 at the Fresnedi Sports Complex.

It all starter in 1994, when Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi was still vice mayor, the annual awarding of MOST has become a highlight in every graduating high school student of Muntinlupa. The MOST award is intended to encourage students and give them inspiration to excel in their studies, to give importance to the inherent intelligence and talents of students of Muntinlupa, to boost the participation of students in community service, and to support the objectives of the city government to develop the youth.

Here's what I envy most; part of the prize given to the winners of the MOST is a P25,000 per semester to help pay for the graduation tuition fee for four years, as long as the student is able to maintain academic excellence.

Here are the MOST 2007:
